the Quick Start tutorial.
Order
of the Tutorials
While
the tutorials are
listed in a suggested order of viewing, they can be viewed in any
order.
Viewing
the Tutorial
You
will need Macromedia Flash Player installed on your computer to
view the
tutorials. If you are viewing the tutorials from the CD-ROM version of
ReproLine, the Flash Player is already provided with the CD browser and no
further installation is needed. On the web, the Macromedia Flash Player
can be downloaded from the Macromedia
web site.
When you open the main screen for a tutorial, the
tutorial automatically begins preparing to play. During this preparation time,
you will see "Loading Tutorial" in a box on the screen. After
loading is completed, click on the words "Click To Start Tutorial"
to play the tutorial.
Viewing
the PowerPoint File
To
view the PowerPoint file on which the tutorial is based, click on the
Resources link and then "Download the PowerPoint presentation." If
you save the PowerPoint file to your computer and want to make changes to it,
you will need the PowerPoint software installed.
Taking
the Quiz
The quiz screen is divided into two sections. The top part of the screen
initially displays instructions on how to use the quiz and then contains feedback on your answers and your cumulative score.
The bottom part of the screen contains the questions. To answer a question,
click on the gray button next to your selected answer. If an "X"
appears, the answer is incorrect. If a smiley face “:-)" appears, the
answer is correct. Additional feedback is provided in the top part of the
quiz screen. You may select answers until you find the correct one; however,
this will reduce your final score
Scoring
the Quiz
Your
cumulative score appears after answering each question. The quiz score is based on the percentage of correct attempts to
answer each question in relation to the number of questions. For example, 10
correct attempts for 10 questions scores 100%; 15 attempts for 10 questions
scores 67%.
