Faculty and Trainer Development Pathway

Candidate Clinical TrainerThe candidate clinical trainer will complete a practicum, that is, conduct one or more clinical skills (CS) courses with an advanced or master trainer. The advanced or master trainer will assess training skills using the same criteria and skills checklists applied during the CTS course, and if competency is demonstrated, the status of the candidate clinical trainer is changed to "qualified clinical trainer," indicating that the clinical trainer may now conduct CS courses independently.
