Training Exercises and Activities

In this section you will find numerous exercises and activities you can use during a course or workshop. Most are very simple and require very little planning and supplies. You may need to adapt activities to meet your specific needs. Some have names and others do not. Good luck and have fun! The exercises are divided into the following categories:

  • Icebreakers or Introductions help participants in a course or workshop get to know each other.

  • Warmups or Energizers are used throughout the course or workshop to encourage participant involvement and interaction.

  • Topic Lead-Ins are used introduce a topic.
