Service Delivery Guidelines

The purpose of these Service Delivery Guidelines is to provide service providers at all levels with key information on all contraceptive methods commonly available. They are based on the most up-to-date knowledge and consensus opinions. Every effort has been made to harmonize the existing scientific information on family planning and published consensus documents published by WHO and USAID. This was done to provide clear direction to service providers at all levels of the healthcare system.

These guidelines were designed to be adapted and modified to meet your country’s needs. When combined with the national reproductive health policy of your country and adapted to the legal framework, these Service Delivery Guidelines equip service providers with the tools required to maintain consistently high quality services while keeping in mind the clients' needs.
