JHPIEGO Participates in the XIV
International AIDS Conference

JHPIEGO Corporation was represented at the 14th International HIV/AIDS conference in Barcelona, Spain, July 7-12, 2002, by Dr. Ron Magarick (Director of the Training in Reproductive Health Program), Dr. Emmanuel "Dipo" Otolorin (Senior HIV/AIDS Advisor) and Dr. Jean Anderson (Director of the Johns Hopkins HIV Women's Health Program and Editor of the JHPIEGO ReproLearn(r) multimedia tutorial series entitled Care of Women with HIV Living in Limited-Resource Settings). During the conference, over 500 copies of the ReproLearn tutorials were distributed on CD-ROM. In addition, the poster presentation led by Dr. Anderson on the multimedia learning resource package was very well received.
The latest edition of the HIV ReproLearn tutorial series covers 12 topics, including:

- HIV and Pregnancy
- HIV and Breastfeeding
- HIV and Nutrition: an Overview
- HIV and Nutrition: Care and Support

- Infection Prevention for Healthcare Workers
The tutorials were particularly popular among conference delegates who have training responsibilities as well as among service providers. An additional tutorial, Infection Prevention and HIV, will be available Fall 2002.
